New Office & Warehouse Facility

Murrarie [$5 Million]

This project comprised the design and construction of a New 3 Level office building and attached 1000 m2 warehouse facility for a Marine Trading Company providing services to the Marine and Mining Industries. The facility provides bonded storage for Customs and provide new craft for clients such as the delivery and lease of new tug boats, large commercial barges and marine equipment such as heavy duty winches, generators and cranes.

Mintstone’s role was the formulation of a design team to design and obtain approval for the construction of the new facilities on Paringa Road. Difficult ground conditions required a close working relationship with the Contractor and the project on completion won a QMBA award for the quality of its design and construction. This project was completed in February of 2014.

Tenancy Fit-out Works

Level 37 & 38 Riparian Plaza [$1 Million]

Works include the design and construction associated with the creation of a new tenancy on Level 37 of Riparian Plaza and the remodelling of the existing fit-out to a large portion of levels 37 and 38 for Wilson HTM, whilst the workspace was being occupied. The project involved pre-planning, design works, tendering and preparation and negotation of the construction contract, with works completed in October of 2013.

Affordable Housing

9 Hunter Avenue, Labrador [$7 Million]

The recently completed affordable housing project was a Commonwealth Government Nation Building project developed by the Churches of Chirst Care Queensland. The comprised 27 residential units plus a managers office over seven floors. The project was completed is a tight time frame of 9 months and delivered on time and on Budget. The complex is currently occupied and is in the defects liability period.

20 Residential Units

Lower King Street, Caboolture [$3 Million]

The development of 20 new residential units in Lower King Street Cabooluture. The site was acquired in April 2011. The existing residences have been demolished and a Development approval for 20 Units has been obtained.

Princess Alexandra Car Park & Child Care Centre

Woolloongabba, Brisbane [$30 Million]

A “Build Own and Operate and Transfer” (BOOT) scheme developed on Queensland State Government lease land comprising the Design and Construction of a 1400 car parking facility and the ABC Childcare Centre linked to the Princess Alexandra Hospital carried out for International Parking Group.

Supa IGA & Specialty Shops

Gatton [$6 Million]

The re-development of the Supa IGA store and specialty shops in Gatton. Extension of the existing IGA Supa Store and Construction of a New mall and 8 speciality shops. The project was completed in December 2009.

Ferny Way Shopping Centre

Ferny Hills, Brisbane [$5 Million]

Refurbishment of an existing shopping centre at 120 to 140 Ferny Way, Ferny Hills Brisbane comprising a significant revamp of the building façade, including shopfronts, signage and services. The project was completed in February 2010.

Mole Street Self Storage

Mole Street, Toowoomba [$2 Million]

Construction of 41 self storage units in Mole Street, Toowoomba. The project involved the design, cosntruction and approval of 41 storage units across the road from Downlands Colledge, Toowoomba. The project was completed in December 2009.
